Our toasty summer continues to zoom along and I’m guessing that many of you have been watching and cheering on our Olympians on from your comfy couches. It was a great thrill to cheer on Guillermo’s fiancée Michelle and her bronze medal 4×100 Freestyle relay team. I must say that I really like telling people that our club has a connection to Canada’s olympic team!
I know that some of you have been asking about registration for next season and the attached package describes the process (similar to last year) along with different session options and their respective fee. Note that the pre-registration period and discount runs through to August 31st.
The Executive reviewed our pool rental and coaching costs for the Tuesday/Thursday early, late, Saturday and Sunday sessions and while the fees have increased slightly this year, they are still very reasonable, competitive and they also more accurately reflect costs for the different sessions. We are also offering a 10% discount for early registrants. The more sessions that you choose, the larger the dollar value saving of your discount.
Also, once pre-registration is over, all returning or new members will be required to pay the full fee as described in the attachment. As always, we will also define a pro-rated fee schedule for members who sign up after Jan. 1st. 2017.
Taina Wilson has agreed to act as our Registrar again (thanks Taina!). Should you have questions, please send a note to Kelly (firstname.lastname@example.org), speak to one of the Executive or Taina.
I’ll see some of you later today if you’re heading to Adrianne’s for Cottage Day to enjoy some sun and laughter. For those of you at practice in the morning enjoy the workout!
