There should be an effort to ensure that the new swimmers are able to meet the minimum requirements for swimming ability as outlined on the website.
Deck Coats: We only have 8 orders and we need to have an order of 12.  Steve will call OMNI to find out how much it would cost for 8, without the discount that we would typically receive for 12.  Members are asked to encourage one another to order so that they can get up to the total of 12 coats.  Alternatively, we may just have to wait until September 2013 when we have new members therefore generating new interest in the coats.
Provincials:  There will be a coach present for 2 out of 3 days of the meet with foreseeable expenses (mileage, hotel, etc) submitted beforehand.  A large group of NYMAC swimmers are predicted to attend.  Note: Provincials will be in London, Ontario.  Thursday, March 28 – Saturday, March 30, 2013.  Registration is now open.
Coaching Plan 2012/2013: A detailed plan was presented.  While it was extremely thorough and detailed a more general outline of the season will be given to the swimmers.
Douglas Snow: Should be fully operational by January 13, 2013.  We have no official permit yet but we do plan to go back to practices beginning at 7:15 am on Sundays at Snow.
John Fillion: He is our Councillor for our Ward 23.  He has indicated to Ralph that Snow is on track to be open in January.  He has also offered to post any information about our club on the Ward website.
AY Jackson: Start date for 2013 is January 15.
Executive Positions Available: Members are encouraged to join the Executive Committee for June 2013.  It has been announced formally at the holiday brunch, in the meeting minutes and informally on the pool deck.
50/50: Congratulations to Kate Rieper the winner of the draw!  She received over $1000.00.  Thank you to Adrienne for the idea and following through and organizing the draw.  The Bank of Nova Scotia will match our earnings.
There will be a small increase in permit fees for September 2013 from $50.00/hr to $60.00/hr plus HST.  The last time our team fees went up was two years ago.  With the permit increase and the MSO fee increase our registration fee may have to increase in the fall, this will include the Saturday session as well.
Nutrition Seminar:  Date Change: Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7:00 pm.  The cost will be $15.00 per person.

Saturday Session:  Filled up very quickly, there are still some outstanding payments.  Please forward a cheque to Martina immediately.
Website: Seems to be in limbo.  Do we need to have technical support?  Should we move towards online registration?  Ralph will check with Kimberly Silk to see if she is available and interested in working on the   site.  Otherwise, Martina will continue to maintain the site as usual.
Nothing to report.
