Dear Gators,

Happy Groundhog Day!

Finding it tough to get off the couch in the evening or out of that warm cozy bed in the mornings? I think we all find it tough to attend practices sometimes – especially during winter. Life (and laziness for me!) gets in the way sometimes. But our coaches make it worth your while if you come! Practices are full of choice and deliver on intensity. Most of you already know that a regular exercise program is one of the best mood boosters around.  (With excellent side effects as well.) I don’t make this stuff up: http://www.health.harvard.edu/mind-and-mood/exercise-and-depression-report-excerpt

Don’t forget about GNO this week.

Thornhill Invitational meet is quickly approaching. http://thornhillmultisport.com/programs/invitationalswimmeet/  A few of us are already registered. This meet is an excellent warm up for those planning on attending Provincials.  http://www.2016provincialchampionships.com/en/ and Nationals later in the year (no website yet but it’s going to be in Etobicoke).  Some Gators may be going to the Burlington meet this weekend http://www.mastersswimmingontario.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2016-02-07-Burlington.pdf

If you plan on attending a meet please let Guillermo (and me) know. I have swim caps if you wish to purchase one. They are sure to bring you luck.

Don’t forget – if you want to add another practice we have prorated fees now!

See you in the pool!
